As you know I will be answering questions this week on the CruiseCritic Forum. I welcome this opportunity because the more contact points we have with our onboard and future guests the better the total Azamara Experience will be. But before I respond to your questions I want you to know how much it pleases all of us at Azamara Club Cruises that so many of you take the time to express yourself about us. It certainly shows your loyalty to our young cruise product. And your perceptive questions keep us on our toes. CruiseCritic is highly important for the entire cruise industry and here at Azamara Club Cruises we take it very seriously. As an indication of that seriousness you will remember that about a year ago we created the position of Chief Blogging Officer and named Bill Leiber to that post. Since then he has become a valuable ally to you who post on the CruiseCritic Forum. Bill has listened to you carefully, corrected misconceptions when they occurred and frequently served as an ombudsman and called our attention to possible problems and sticking points that may have occurred. No doubt this has made us a better cruise line. When a problem has developed Bill has fought for you. When he perceived that the “poster” was off base or would be better served through customer service, he said that. It’s a two-way street isn’t it? Along with “host” Andy’s professional management of the board coupled with his expert knowledge of Azamara, he and Bill have made extraordinary progress during the year.
So before ending my first post of this week let me thank all of you who have sailed with us and continue to do so regularly. I have met many of you and that is always a pleasure. I look forward to seeing you on a future President’s cruise. And now on with your questions and my answers. I’m going to do two posts each day this week. Since many of you asked similar or the same question I am aggregating them and responding by categories of questions.
