My wife and I will be on the Whisper from Southampton to Copenhagen May 24, 2012.
Is anyone interested in sharing a tour guide in St. Petersburg? We are considering either a 2 or 3 day guide. Private tours are in line cost wise with ship's tours but private tours are advantageous as less waiting and queues. We are U.S. citizens, New Yorkers and Floridians.

I am helping friends organize this trip and have a question. Have any of your been on this ship or itinerary before and have any knowledge of whether or not there is more potential for sea sickness on this ship and itinerary combination. One of the travelers is prone to sea sickenss and is concerned that this being a smaller ship it could be an issue. Any comment are appreciated.

The cost for a tour with a private company for 2 days would be comparable to SS tours, but offers many advantages in planning and time. Let me know if it is of interest and I'll forward my e mail address. My wife did a lot of research on the subject
