Yesterday, on my recurring Sail-Away thread I mentioned on a couple of post that I was taking DW out to dinner as it was her birthday.

Today we received an E-mail from Cruise Critic wishing aliaschief's Wife, a Happy Birthday and a discount on any CC store item.

So someone does read our threads and post.;) When my DW post on CC she uses my screen name and signs off with a S. signature. So she does not have a member account here on CC.

So to the Thread Host who picked up on that. Thanks. A very nice gesture.

As I often mentioned on the many Roll Calls I have hosted the best part of a Roll Call is the friends you meet. We are looking forward to cruising with you both again. Now all we have to do is get GeorgeC and others from that Roll Call sailing and Meet & Greet; to join us in November for a ten day reunion on the beautiful MS Noordam.;)

Though the intent of this tread was to thank the CC staff for being so observant my DW Susan thanks you all for the kind BD wishes. Birthdays are great as the alternative of not celebrating one is rather depressing.

GeorgeC we would love to have you and the Mrs. join us. Ten day cruise starts Nov. 16, MS Noordam so you won't be home for Thanksgiving. Some good ports of call. Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba, Grand Turk, Half Moon and a scenic day of cruising in Bahia de Samma where over 5,000 Humpback Whales spend the winter breeding and birthing.

So think it over, as we would enjoy sailing with you both again.

Sonics is cheap hamburgers and some sort of drink that seems to be popular. One opened in our area over a year ago but we've never been.......

It reminds me of the ''carhops'' from the 60's. :D
