Himself is real, too. He introduced me to the meaning of people being referred to as "Himself," which I did not know. And I thank him for the compliment on my writing style. Like "The Answer Man" in radio's old days (with whom I used to work), I do answer all questions.

I have absolutely no idea why I chose "tomc" as a board name. As for the photo of RuthC and myself ... I don't remember it at all and I couldn't have been drunk as I don't imbibe.
