CEO Larry, real nice to be able to raise the idea of crediting frequent cruisers from other lines in order you might bring them to you. Have you considered this? My thinking is that CruiseCritic has hundreds of nearly full-time cruisers with most of them new to the Azamara Club. Many of them might cross-over to Azamara if only for the special offer of credits you might conceive. I am heavily devoted to one line but, given some spending or excursion incentives, might give Azamara Club a try. Jack Morris

Dear 2old4this (Jack),
What would you think of a cruise critic voyage, good values...of course! Perhaps we can have host Andy or some of the editors join us. Would this be of interest to the cruise critic community?

Regards,
CEO Larry - That's a start! So much depends on destination, time of year, and what you term, 'good values'. I'm not sure that there would be sufficient number from CC to make it pay for a special CC voyage. While we CCers are a cruising lot, and a few of us are on the sea more than at home, we really don't know one another as a group other than through these threads. When we come together for an on board CC gathering, we are inclined to go our own ways very soon afterward. My guess is that something quite unique would have to be part of the travel to make it worth your effort. Jack Morris

Larry,
I agree that a Cruise Critic voyage would be something very special, akin to your Presidents Voyage. I doubt another line has put something like that together. Captain Johannes on the Journey and his fantastic staff took great care of the close to 40 CC members on my only Azamara cruise.
Thanks,

Local 17 - What was it that took place on your Azamara Cruise that made it special? I have never experienced a cruise where more than a handful CC members attended the 2 hour get together. When the gathering ended our identity as a group stopped. You apparently came away from the experience highly impressed. Please describe if you will. Jack Morris

Your question wasn't directed at me, but I can relate my own experiences with CC gatherings on Azamara. I have seen the louge practically full with CC members on several Azamara cruises. It seems that a large portion of their cruisers are on CC.
The Azamara Meet n Mingle is VERY nice. A number os officers attend and mingle with the group. Nice hors d'oeurves are offered and a good selection of drinks. First class event...for free!
