Menu Question

Just curious....is there any way to view dining room menus in advance of cruising?? I am trying to decide which night to book the Pinnacle and don't want to miss "lobster"!!

We will be sailing on the Volendam in June.

Lobster is usually served on the last formal night of the cruise, usually on Thursday, a sea day. :)

We enjoy the Pinnacle on the first night--it is a great way to kick off your cruise. The first evening in the dining room is our least favorite because it is very rushed with the introductions, the new seating chart and the waiter and busboy trying to cope with their new tables full of hungry and tired cruisers who have had such a long day......... You can call Ship's Services soon for your reservation (and first night is half price!) The only downside to this decision is that the dining room service and menu subsequently seem to pale somewhat in comparison to the steakhouse experience.

We do like formal nights in the dining room, but it seems to me that specials are offered in the Pinnacle on those nights if the reservations aren't filled--so be flexible if a special is important.

I didn't know you could book the Pinnacle in advance, but I found the number to call online after reading your post....thanks...we will be sure and book now!! Thanks for the advice.
