Sail & Save sale ends when????

Does anyone have any idea when the "sail & save" event sale ends????
Me/hubby and my parents are planning on booking for this June but my parents won't have the deposit $ until next week. Does anyone have any idea if the sale lasts that long???

It's been on since late Nov. so wouldn't expect it to be pulled within the next week. It seems to be one of those promotions without a definate end date, at least none I can find anywhere unless I'm missing something.

Just be certain to ask if your deposit is refundable. Some of HAL's sale prices do not refund your deposit if you cancel.

Don't think OP has to worry about that with this promo, KK, though there's no harm in making completely sure at time of booking what the T&C are so there are no surprises later.

I asked HAL by phone earlier in the month and was told it ends the end of January.

That was before the Concordia.

I'd ask again if I were interested.

re the amount of deposit for a cruise....I found it interesting that 2 online agencies I checked when I booked a cruise last week, were only requiring a $200 per person deposit. I checked w/ HAL directly and they wanted $700. I know in the end you pay it all anyway, but HAL ties up an addtnl $500 of your money until (in our case) final payment nearly 8 months from now.

BTW the online agency we used was was $117 per person less than HAL's "sail and save"? rates for a comparable cabin.

FWIW a res. agent told me just now while asking about a Europe cruise I was researching that there was no end date and it was subject to being pulled at any time. HAL does have these long running promo's and this it seems in another one of them.

The Sail and Save Promo was originally set to end Dec 31st then it was extended to end January 31st. Could it get extended....maybe (I have been using that word a lot lately ;) ) What I suggest doing is to place a cabin on hold with HAL or a TA. The hold will last for 5 days if the sailing is not that close. If you do not have the deposit money in those 5 days then HAL will allow one extension of the hold.

The thing to remember is that there is always a sale of some kind or if not the exact day you look there will be one coming very soon ;)
