Customer service from HAL just responded to a question about size of liquor bottles ordered to the stateroom. I am being told they are 750ml in size, which makes sense based on retail bottles for sale. This still makes it a good buy for a Canadian. I know I have read on here that the bottles are one liter, which I actually have never seen in a retail store, but according to HAL they are the standard 750 ml size. Just wanted to pass the info on.

You can buy 1 Liter alcohol in South Carolina as well. Wine bottles come in 750 ml and 1.5 liter -- wonder if HAL responded with the size of the wine bottles which are 750 ml when OP asked about alcohol.

It has always been 1L, one of the best buys on the ship. Maybe someone just off the ship could update. Yes, Seattle could have been thinking of the wine bottles.

One has to wonder if this is indeed a change, or just another in a long line of Seattle mistakes.

Actually, Ruth, when I read the response, I wondered the same thing myself but decided to post the response as given.

Sure, but no one bothers to post when they do.

Sort of like the media - anything negative they publish - when a cruise ship leaves passengers it's all over the place - when one goes back to pick up passengers - it's not exactly on the front pages
