We will be in Grand Turk for the 1st time on Tuesday, 4/10. We'll have our 2 daughters, 14 and 9 with us. We're looking for something inexpensive to do with them. It is our 1st of 4 stops on our cruise and our ship (Westerdam) will be the only one @ Grand Turk that day. Since it is only the Westerdam there, I can't imagine anything will be too busy or rowdy. We're looking for just a beach/ pool to hang out at for a few hours preferably close to the ship.

The beach and pool is just 5 minute walk off of the pier.

Walk off the pier, straight through the store and left to Margaritaville...HUGE pool and no obligation to buy anything. Drinks and food are available via servers in the lounge chairs around the pool...

I agree. No need to spend anything. let the kids play in the large pool or wade in at the beach. Simple day. Not much to see at this tiny spot....but it DOES have some gorgeous white sand and blue water!

Your girls can have fun at Margaritaville...walk further down the beach and get their hair braided....there are simply things you can enjoy with them. Have a massage while they braid their hair...or go parasailing...it's up to you!!!

How much to get the hair braided?
Thanks.

I think it's $20 for braiding half crown (half head).... not sure...but I'm guessing there is room for negotiation...
