Key West Dolphin Swims

Can anyone tell me if you've done this in Key West?

If so, what was the price and what was the program like?

Are you referring to a specific charter that goes out and finds wild dolphins? Otherwise, Key West does not have a dolphin swim facility. The nearest facility is nearly 60 miles away.

Greetings

You can swim with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center on Grassy Key around mile marker 58 or at Theater of the Sea on Holiday Isle around mile marker 85. Since Key West is mile marker 0, either is quite a ride for an excursion.

You can not swim with Dolphins on a charter. I is illegal to even chase or pursue them. Often you do see them on charters in the local waters. They seem to enjoy chasing and playing around the boat. To swim with them here, you have to go to one of the places with captive animals. You might want to google "dolphins in captivity" and read up on it before you decide if you want to spend your money supporting this.
