I'm just curious about your flights for this cruise. We took air through RCCL and I'm not satisfied but of course it's too late now. We have 2 plane changes between Houston and Rome - Northwest Houston-Detroit-Amsterdam-Rome. Our flights back from Barcelona are great though - Barcelona - Atlanta - Houston via Delta. We seriously considered doing our own flights but this included transfers and with our 10 year old we just thought it would be easier than on our own. Anyway - just curious how others are booked.

Hi - I'm on the 6/5 Brilliance sailing and I used Delta frequent flyer miles, but had to reserve last August to get seats. We're flying from Cincinnati to Atlanta to Barcelona. Great going over, but comming back we have to go from Barcelona to JFK, then a 5 hour layover to Columbus and then Cincinnati. We're on a wait list for an earlier flight from JFK to Cincinnati. Last year we used miles to go to Copenhagen for the Baltic and didn't book it until Feb for a June cruise - no problems, but this past year we were lucky to get the dates we wanted 10 months in advance.

We are on the same sailing of the Brilliance. We booked our own flights for a lot less than the flights through RCI. We are flying Iberia a Spanish airline. We are from Florida, so we are flying Miami to Madrid and then on to Rome. Coming back, we fly Barcelona to Miami. Looking forward to seeing you on the cruise!!

I'm also on the 5/29 Brilliance sailing, but I have not recieved my docs yet. Should I have?? I'm worried because I booked air/transfers through RCI because for us I found no real price difference.

Alecia,
We received our documents about 2 weeks ago. I called them though and I believe that they rushed them for us. My husband is a Peruvian citizen, so we needed to docs in order for him to apply for his visas. I think that is why we got them early...but not sure???
Looking forward to our cruise!! Emilie

I am on the Brillance cruise June 17th and got my air thruough RCI. I received my flight schedule yesterday. I was able to call and get the seats that I wanted. I think they gave me good flights. I leave Seattle and fly directly to Amsterdam with a 1 hour layover then on to Barcelona. My return flight was also good. I will have one stop in Atlanta with a 1 hour layover.
Have a great cruise anyway:)
