Tortola - Brewer's Bay / Long Bay

Has anyone been to Brewer's Bay in Tortola? Info on internet indicates it is quieter than Cane Garden Bay (and less poluted), has good snorkeling, decent restaurant and bathrooms. Can anyone confirm these remarks and provide info on
- Taxi cost / duration
- Availability of chairs / shade

Also would like similar info on Long Bay.
