Excursions waitlisted does it help to be in a suite?

My questions is after having booked this trip what seems like years ago my dh and I are finally settling in to book our excursions. Well, many of the ones we want to do are waitlisted already will it help to be in a suite? Will we be able to possibly book some of the excursions through the Neptune lounge when we board?

Less than two weeks to go!!! What else do I need to know?

It shouldn't help that you're in a suite. The waiting list is usually first-come/first served.

Book what you think you will be interested in doing if your first choice doesn't come through. Then, when you board, check at the Shore Excursion Office to see if there has been any changes to your preferred shore excursion.
Sometimes there are additional departures added, or cancellations for any number of reasons.
You can also check how many are ahead of you on the list.
