Need transportation suggestion for getting from Nassau to Great Exuma....inexpensively. Will be in Nassau one day from 1 pm until midnight and would like to visit friends who work at a resort on Great Exuma.

Bahamasferries has a boat to Georgetown, but I doubt the schedule would allow you to make the trip in that timeframe.
The island is not that close, and takes several hours to make the trip. Additionally, if your friends arent' near Georgetown, it could be several hours drive once you hit the island.
I'd plan another trip to Great Exuma, and enjoy the island to it's fullest. It's VERY different from Nassau.
