I have put a deposit down on my cruise so can I begin booking excursions or do I wait until I make my final payment? Also, if I change my mind will there be any penalty? You don't pay until you are on the cruise, right?

We have booked ours before final payment in the past, but you can't book too far in advance. I was unable to about 6 months in advance, and I think by 4 months I was able to.

You do pay for them when booked. They will charge your credit card. They will also credit you if you cancel them though. They will also credit them if they should cancel them.

You can book them online about 4 months in advance, yoou just need to have your booking number. Your credit card will be charged immediately. You can change your mind until 24 hours before the excursion and get a refund. As long as you are within those guidelines you can book before you cruise and cancel while you are on abord the ship.

I think you can book online earlier than 4 months ahead. My cruise is Aug. 29 to Alaska and I booked all my tours in early March. I like to book early to get the times I want. As a previous poster said you can cancel and be refunded if you change your mind. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
