We are booked on the Mariner next Feb during Valentine's Day. Has anyone ever cruised that week before? Do they have anything special going on for Valentine's Day?

We were on the Monarch of Valentines Day last year. Nothing special. Just a Valentines Day Card in your room with a flower.

We've been on Brilliance on Valentine's Day the past two years and other than some decorations around the ship, there was nothing unusual. This year, Valentine's Day fell on a sea day and it was our second formal night. That also meant it was lobster tail and souffle night and I always think that's special. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I would assume the ship sold many more flowers and much more jewelry than usual that day for those who hadn't planned ahead.

We were on the Grand Princess year before last on Valentine's Day. They decorated the atrium with ballons and made a hugh heart-shaped cake! By the way we will also be on the Mariner for Valentine's Day! Looking forward to it.It will be a nice winter break!
