Does anyone know where jet skis can be rented ? I searched this topic and didn't find any responses. If anyone has any information on this I would be deeply grateful.

Right in St. Goerges there are Jet Ski's for rent. I'm not sure if you can book it through the excursion desk (if you can I would do that) if not as soon as you can walk over and try to book them. We waited last year until late Tuesday afternoon and were unable to get one at all. I'm going this Sunday if you need more info. When are you going?

We're going Aug. 28th. The kids are also interested in parasailing. I'm not comfortable with either. So I told them they could do one or the other.

Our kids wanted to try the parasailing also. Very expensive and luckily sold out. If I recall correctly you are out in the boat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours and only in the air a few minutes! Kind of crazy for the $$. I'm not very comfortable with either myself, we had another adult in our party that would have gone with them. For the Jet Ski's DH and the adults would have been doing all the driving. I agree, I'm not comfortable with the kids doing these things on their own.

Our family was at the Dockyard a couple weeks ago on the Grandeur. There is a watersports center directly across from the ship. My husband and son rented jet skis there - it was a jet ski tour. My husband drove and my son was a passenger. My husband said it was very safe and they both enjoyed it. They even got to swim a couple times and they saw lots of sea life. At the same place my daughter and I went on the parasailing tour. We had a great time. We "sailed" together in this chair that holds both of us - and we could wear our clothes, we didn't get wet. They told us the flying time was 10 minutes, but it was actually much longer. The time doesn't start until all the rope is fully extended, and then there is the time when the rope is coming in too. I felt very safe and the drivers and crew were very attentive and safety conscious. We definately felt we got our money's worth on both things.

How much did they charge for the jet ski tour and the parasailing(if you don't mind me asking)

The jet ski tour was $125 for a 2 person jet ski. The parasailing was $65 per person. The place was called Windjammer Watersports. Their phone number is 441-234-0250.

We saw two places in St Georges to rent jet skis. Both by the docks, one near the gas station and the other in the town square. You can't miss them, ask anyone and they can tell you. We had a reservation made personally the day before, but unfortunately when we got there at the appointed time, one of the skis had broken down and they wanted us to return the following day, which we couldn't do because we were leaving that day. We got a full refund and it was $135 for a double. It was suppose to be a guided excursion.

I've gone on a jetski tour from Sea Venture Watersports at the Southampton Princess Resort, it was $105 for about an hour. A co-worker mentioned that she went on a tour from Somerset Bridge Jet Ski and it was $90, but both of those are far away from St. Georges. You can find other rental companies in the Yellow Pages (www.bermudayp.com (http://www.bermudayp.com)) under "jet ski rentals".

Thank you Swizzle. Now I have to decide if we should book this in advance or wait until we get there.
