Has anyone done the Cool Runnings excursion? Does the boat pick you up right where the ship docks?

We were on the Imagination in January and did the Cool Runnings excursion and had a blast. You take a bus from the pier and they bring you to a beach not that far the pier and the boat picks you up there.
