can anyone give us a good appraisal of either msc opera or msc lirica
we're considering them for an 06 transatlantic cruise - anxious to hear your thoughts

perhaps you should mention what other cruise lines you sailed on, what your tastes are like.

I have sailed on most lines w/ over 40 cruises to date. I tried MSC Opera last year & prefeered it to HAL , NCL & Celebrity for food & service. It is very European, people were well dressed all week. The ship was smaller but very well designed. The cabins are small but also very well designed. Entertainment was varied & fun.

I plan on returning!






why not look into a shorter sailing just in case its not to your liking?
