Will the Cruise Critics meetings still continue when the STAR moves to Alaska?

I apologize if this is a recurring question, or one that has been beaten to death. I spend most of my time on the Roll Call boards, and this hasn't come up.

My family and I are scheduled to sail to Alaska on the Star in June. We were wondering if anyone knew if the CC meetings would continue on the Star's new route.

Maybe you could contact someone ahead of time to set something up? Or just meet at the same time and place as the Star Hawaii meetings?

Contact someone in guest relations on the ship the day you arrive, or ahead of time. You may just get a lovely surprise like we did on the Sky. We were VIPs for the rest of our 17-day cruise. Lots of fun!

Thanks for all your input. I know from my previous cruise on the Star that many of the ship's officers read the Cruise Critics boards because they recognized our names. I know we are not on the first Alaskan cruise on the Star, so maybe a meeting will be established before be board, otherwise I will take all of your advice and try and contact the hotel manager or someone in guest relations.
