Is is economical and safe to take CAB

We would like to spend the day at a CLEAN Jamaican Beach and have a some good Jerk Chicken. We are a family of 4 - kids age 15 and 12. We are NOT interesting in drinking/partying or shopping. I have heard that Turtle Beach is not clean (alot of oil floating on the surface). :eek:

Is it safe for us to take a JUTA cab from the Ocho Rios Cruise Pier to James Bond Beach and spend the day there on our own? James Bond Beach is 15-20 minutes from Ocho Rios by cab - approximately how much would a cab cost?

We thought we would also try the Ocho Rios Jerk Centre. Where is the restaurant in relation to James Bond Beach and the pier?

Go to knowjamaica.com and e-mail marva. She will take care of you for a very reasonable price.;) She was excellent to meet us at the pier and had a driver waiting for us. I was extrememly nervous to go to Jamaica after reading posts on these boards. I took the advice of many and booked with Marva Shaw of know jamaica. Marvelous Marva is the way to go.:D
