HI,
This is my first post. I'll be going on a cruise on Adventure of the Seas in July. The rooms we were looking at happen to be all the way forward on deck 10 and happen to be under the fitness center. Is this a problem with noise and jumping around? Also since on room is all the way forward I can't tell what is next to it? RC just has a big blank area.
Any input, good or bad would be wonderful.
TIA

if the cabin is 1540 or 1240 or above that-- you will be directly under the gym area. People will be lifting weights..and tend to drop them. You might hear that sound.

If this cabin was given to you as a gurantee there isnt much you can do besides buy another one.

If you picked this cabin direct you might want to reconsider that choice.

The rooms are either 1230 or 1236.

What about motion being so forward?

Hi,
I will be a first time cruiser in the distant future but can comment on your location which is similiar to mine on FOS (Cabin 1530). Posing the question to RC I was told the adjacent area was the crew quarters (Captain's I suppose). This does make sense to me when I look at the deck plans and photos. The bridge/pilot house is the furtherest forward on Deck 10. I am not worried about the noise from the gym but always look for the opportunity to acquire a better location, but I imagine there will be hardly any traffic in this area!

a ship will feel motion towards the front-- and higher uo you go the more will be felt.

if you take a pencil and place it on your finger and move it up and down-- you will see the more toward the middle you go the less motion that is seen.

I have been on the Liberty a few weeks ago in a cabin across the front on deck 7=-= we felt nothing at all after the first night.
The seas were calm.

Just stating this for your information only.

Deb603- We were under the gym all the way forward on the Summit (Celebrity) and never did heard anything from above. We didn't feel the ship's movement more than usual. We did have a crew stair in the "blank" area of the floor plan and did hear that door more than we liked. But you do not have passenger movement all the way forward (only people who's rooms are directly near yours). We're going on a BTB on the Connstellation in July and our TA suggested going one or two decks down, but staying at forward location. We like being at the front! Rose-Linda
