I wasn't on the show, but one of the contestants on my cruise won a 7 night cruise for two for answering all the questions correctly.

I had the chance to be a panalist (the DCL replacement for phone a friend). It was so much fun -- you must be 18 or over and pretty energetic to get a spot.
The people selected to play always seemed to be kids (the process is totally random). If someone below 18 is selected he/she must have a parent/guardian with them. If no one is in the seat -- it goes to the seat on one side and then the other -- so people will come in and sit in a row by themselves to try and increase their chances.
There is a 50/50 -- ask the audience is done via clapping.
The hard part was knowing the answers and not being allowed to do so (but I got a very cool pin). The questions are all about Disney -- but do get harder -- there was one about what country Goofy represented at one of the Olympics Games.
Everyone won something -- no one on my trip won the cruise, though.
I would love to do it again!

My 9 year old son was chosen last year, due to the fact that he made enough noise to wake the dead.
His questions ranged from how many countries were in epcot, to where is the cinema on the ship, but age 9 he was able to reply to them without any help from his dad, who I made go up with him
