Nice, plush, thick white ones to wrap yourself into and enjoy.

If they are not there in the cabin when you arrive be sure and ask for them. It happened to us and we waited a day before asking and the cabin steward couldn't apology enough for them not being there.

Yes, they certainly are generally there in your cabin when you arrive.

Aren't the robes great?
I no longer need to remember to pack any kind of loungewear.
(I think I did forget once.)

Lovely robes to enjoy in your cabin. Not at the pool. Not in the Lido. Not in the dining room. IN YOUR CABIN!

I hope when the Maasdam is in dry dock they get some new robes..The ones we had in our room looked like they had been washed many times and didn't even look white..I only used it in the room..They are so big there is no way I would wear it anywhere else on the ship..

Actually, I think the HAL robe is perfect attire for those 7 am US customs calls in the US Virgins -- I am not sure that anything more acceptable is even appropriate at that time of morning!

Not on everyone, they're not!
If you tend to be "fluffy" yourself, then you might want to bring your own. They probably fix a 1X well enough---maybe a 2X could get it around. Maybe.

arzz, I'm with you. If they're going to have Immigration call in the middle of the night they should expect people to be in night clothes.
