It was a blast - we thought it was one of our best vacations ever. This was our first cruise and we took our children, ages 5 and 8. Following are highlights and other observations. I would have provided all of this to Disney on their evaluation form, but they only gave 3 lines for written comments.

Highlights:
1. Castaway Cay
2. St. John
3. Deck 4 outside - I walked 5 miles each of 3 days around the deck
4. Pinnochio's Pizza (my 60 pound 8 year old came back weighing 66 pounds)
5. Our balcony
6. Debarkation procedure
7. Disney Dreams (Thursday night show)
8. Bingo with Andrea (Bingo going once...)
9. Our Assistant Server (Okim) - very good with our children
10. Days at sea

Overrated:
1. Palo - Pizza was just like appetizer pizza at Red Lobster, which I like. Main course was poor - I got chicken stuffed with Shrimp Scampi. There was only 1 shrimp)
2. Animator's Palate - the show was just not that great

Disappointments:
1. Kids program for 8 and 9 year olds. Not enough organized activities. Too much of a drill called "Cruising the Lab", which meant entertaining yourself.
2, Getting off of the boat at Castaway Cay - more of a cluster you know what than effective crowd control. Packed in like sardines, waiting to get out.
3. Buffet meals at Topsiders - very little selection and mediocre quality
4. Dessert buffet - the desserts looked good, but were not.
5. St. Maarten or St. Martin

I would like to go again sometime, but would consider other cruise lines as well.
