Any info on which of the 2 port the Noordam will use:

Frihavn port (Free port) or Langeline port.

We boarded the Noordam last year in Copenhagen and it is the port closest to the little Mermaid and not far from the Palace. Also it is quite close to the city and not far from where the ferries dock. We walked there after breakfast from our hotel just to make sure it had arrived and then returned back to the hotel to pack.

It doesn't have any wharf facilities and HAL erects a white tent in which you check in. We were lucky in that it was a sunny day. It would be dreadful if it were raining.

Ditto Jennie.

We boarded Statendam a number of years ago in exactly the same place...with the same tent. It was a pouring rainy day when we boarded and Captain requested the shore people get everyone's documents processed ASAP and to let us aboard post haste. We were among the first to arrive and, therefore, were aboard very early .....for those days. We never expected to board prior to about `1:30 as was the norm then but the Captain was so considerate of everyone and it was wonderful of him to let us board early.

Copenhagen is a fantastic, very walkable city. One of our favorites in Europe. Enjoy your pre-cruise time there. You'll wish you had longer, I think.

The above mention port is the only port used by cruse ships that I know of. If you have time, take the train over to Malmo C. Great place to visit and also very walkable.
