We are about to embark on our first cruise, EVER, tomorrow morning on the Zuiderdam. It would be an understatement to say that I have been following these boards with rabid curiosity for the last seven months or so, and it almost doesn't seem real that I am finally about to see it all for my own eyes after imagining for so long. Thank you all for providing such a rich source of information and advice, and expect my giddy review in a week or so.

The only "bad" thing about your first cruise is that it hooks you for more cruises! And then you want a longer cruise ... one week isn't enough. And then you want to try a bigger cabin. Etc. ;)

I had to drag my DH onto the ship for his first cruise......and that was 12 cruises ago! Have a great time.
