We booked a year in advance and could only get late seating (8:30) for Disney Magic - West Carib in May, 2006. We have a 3 & 5 year old - there is no way they can eat dinner at 8:30 - how hard is it to switch to the 6:30 seating once you get on the ship? I would hate for them to miss the experience of eating at the different restaurants. Is there a way to switch before the cruise?

Did you WAITLIST for main dining when you booked? If you DID, most likely you already cleared and have main dining! If you did NOT, get on the waitlist right now! If you still don't have main dining (you will know when you check in at the pier), then you need to go immediately to the place and time described in your Navigator to make any dining change requests. There are no guarantees that the they will be honored if the sailing is full, but be among the FIRST ones there and you may have a better chance.
Good luck, hope it works out for you. :)

The above poster is right, go to the place they post in the navigator right a the time given and you should be able to change your dining.
We have done this a few times an donly once we wernt changed right on the spot. That time they said they would call our room and leave a message if we got changed. it was the next day but we did get changed over to the time we wanted. So there is hope!!!!

Thanks for answering back - that was my main concern about our upcoming cruise - so I won't worry about it now - Thanks again!

When we cruised on the Magic in December two of our tablemates requested to be moved to the early dinning about 3 days into the cruise and didn't have any problems at all.
