SY Suite Oosterdam (Flowers? Robes?)

I haven't been able to find out this info. I just booked an SY verandah suite on the Oosterdam :D. Will the cruise line have flowers in the room when we arrive? (If not, I will order some!)

Also, there will be three of us in the room, so will there be robes for all of us to use?

If you have booked 3 in your cabin HAL will provide 3 robes. If one is missing when you get there just ask your cabin steward, he will gladly bring a third.

There are flowers in the S suites but never having been on a Vista ship (yet), I don't know if they are in SY. I think I've read there are flowers in all rooms but I could be mistaken.
You'll love the Oosterdam she's had so many great reviews, and I'm sure you'll love HAL.

There'll probably be flowers but I'd caution that we're not exactly talking a huge or even pretty good sized arrangement here. The flowers in our cabins, depending on category, have ranged from a couple of stems in basically a bud vase (B category on the Ryndam) to a small arrangement, the size of a small to medium mixing bowl (S category suite on the Volendam). You can see the flowers from our latest cabin on the left of the linked picture. My husband and I were on the Noordam (another Vista) a few weeks ago in the category of which you speak. Our flower arrangement consisted of a single carnation and some baby's breath in a white glass bud vase. My expectations of a flower "arrangement" had been greater as I had heard such wonderful reviews of the floral displays onboard. (They are quite amazing in the public areas...) I have no experience in the categories higher than SY.)

Just wanted to mention our experience so you won't be disappointed. If you desire a larger arrangement, you may want to order your own.;)

Thanks for the info! I am glad to hear there will be enough robes for all of us.

I think I will order some extra flowers, just to be sure. You can never have too many flowers (unless you have allergies, of course!) :D
