Hi, my son has life threatening allergy to milk. Ship medical staff has been notified. Anyone know if Soy milk is available on board.
Also, we're doing 5 days at WDW before the cruise and then 7 day Disney Magic departing 5/6. Any suggestions on how to manage or organize all of the travel docs?

Hi,
my grandson is allergic to milk too. When we cruised with him and his family his mom called DCL and asked for soy milk and they had it, plus a special ice cream for dessert. She was told they DO NOT carry these items as arule, but if they are requested ahead of time they will have them for anyone who needs them. Plus please remind your wait staff the first night if they dont say anything. Usually after they introduce them selves they will ask about food allergies or special diets and sometimes they will just ask who has the allergy to milk, as they are suppose to be told when you notify the doctor. They did know in our case.
But please notify DCL about this on the phone and ask for soy milk.
They didnt have it at the buffet, but if you request it your wait staff will see to it that there will be some available for you if your not having breakfast and lunch in the restaurants.
Most rooms at WDW have safes in them, I would store your documents in that while at WDW. Sorry I cant really give you much help with the second part of your question.

thanks for the feedback. I filled out the medical questionnaire so hopefully they put 2 and 2 together. Did I mention the part that I have less than 12 hours before we head to Orlando and not a single suitcase has been packed? :o

Have an awesome trip!!!
You are headed for great weather. Upper 80's for 2 days then low 90's for several days. No rain in sight.
Now get off the computer and get packed then have FUN!!!!
