Peter Deilmann Documents/embarkation

We are now about a month away from our Deilmann cruise. No documents have been received yet. I called their office today and was told that our documents should be sent out in a few days. For those who have taken a Deilmann cruise, how far in advance did you receive your documents?

I'd also like to know if Deilmann has early embarkation? We've sailed exclusively on Radisson (now Regent) and usually board at about 12:00 - 1:00. They always have a great lunch to go along with a nice glass (make that several glasses) of bubbly.

We (in Germany) received our docs a month prior to the cruise. I think Jgnova got it 3 weeks prior to the cruise. You should find some information about embarkation in your docs. As for the Mozart embarkation started at 3 pm. But bags could be dropped starting at noon. Embarkation is not a big thing. Just hand out your passports and get your boarding passes (paper) and keys.

We received it from our travel agent about 20 days out. Deilmann must send it to the travel agent if you book through them.

We were contest winners and booked directly through Deilmann. I will check back with our contact on Friday to see if our docs have been sent out. We're eager to get them in our hands, as we leave three weeks from this coming Sunday!

Denise, Wish we were going with you with on your trip to France. Can't wait to hear what you think about river cruising. I am anxious to go in Sept. Everyone says it is wonderful but I don't see how it can be compared to Radisson and Oceania. But we sure are willing to give it a try. We are excited! Judy
