My 77 year old mother would like to find a last minute cruise to somewhere on the West Coast. I checked into a great deal ($869) for a back to back Statendam, Alaska cruise with Holland America, but they were not offering their 'single partner' program for that deal. So I'm looking and wondering where I can find great deals for May? She will be traveling alone, so is Holland the only line that offers the same rate whether single or not? What's Princess policy for single travelers? Do they line you up with a cabin mate for the same dbl occ.?
