MS Veendam

new to these boards, love all the info!
has anyone sailed on the MS Veendam? I'm interested in which cabins are the best with balcony?
and for a Greece trip, what month would be best?

The Veendam is a great ship, well kept, and just recently underwent a major refurbishment. If you can afford it, S Suites have the largest balconies on the ship, but any verandah cabin would be a good choice.

I was in Greece in March of 2000 - and it was plenty hot. Not overbearingly, but definately quite warm. Unless you like the heat, I'd avoid the peak summer months (July, August). I think something in May would be nice. But Greece is a great country to visit in any weather, any month!
