8/15-29 Baltic shore excurs pkgs ?? for 1st time Oceania cruisers?

This will be our 1st time with Oceania and we'd appreciate advice about pre-booking their Discovery or Explorer packages.....or booking something else. We've never been to Europe and not sure what to do.

Also we'd enjoy visiting with anyone else booked on this cruise.

We also are on the Regatta and so far have made arrangements for touring St Petersburg with 6 total people.We will let you know if others contact us to help you find others. We feel 6 is a really perfect size. We investigated many tours and picked DENRUS> Watch some of the small tour companies as they may not be legal and there are false comments in guest books for some.Send your EMAIL address .Ours is cgeidl@earthlink.net.

Hi there,

A tour package for St Petersburg is a good idea ..... remember if you do not have a russian visa you MUST take a tour either from the ship or from a Russian tour company which you have to be careful of .... investigate them well ...... if you are planning on taking the ships tours note that they are also available for booking on board so you may want to wait to see the Destination Presentations in order for you to have a better idea of what you want ..... the day trip to Moscow is exceptional and is good to pre-book that one.
