Would like to e-mail home, but don't want to spend a lot of time searching for the places that do that. Has anybody had luck sending e-mails from the ports listed on my subject line?
Thanks much
Caroline

Why would you want to send emails from port when you can do that on board ship? The ships have internet cafes.

Because of the popularity of email and the Internet most ports in the Caribbean we have been to (and according to my wife we have been to most of them) have Internet cafes that are usually very close to the port areas. In some of the ports there were even Internet cafes right in the dock area. I think these mainly were there for the ships crews and I suspect they charged a little more than the ones a little further away but I believe you won't have a hard time finding places to send an email from in any of the ports you mentioned.

Have a great cruise.

There are internet cafes in most ports and they are much less expensive than the ship. Platinum Captains Club members fees are waved for internet use on the ship. That is a nice perk.

There is an internet cafe at Havensite (sp?) mall where the ship docks in St. Thomas. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

The cost for e-mails onboard the ship is outrageous!!! Sometimes they have specials, but it is very expensive by the minute. I may see what it would cost for a full-use pass, but it still may be less expensive to use the internet cafes on land.

Just back from a week in St. Thomas. There is a Cyber Zone at the Port of Sale building right at Havensight. I believe we paid $6 for 30 minutes of access, and $.25 per page to print.
