Since sodas are apparently not free, other than coffee, tea, and water, is there anything to drink in the dining room/horizon court that IS free? Especially milk - or do they charge for this too?

No charge for milk. They have whole, 2%, skim, and I believe chocolate ... but I can't remember for sure.

Milk drinker here.
Always have a glass with my meal in the dining room.
Often not in sight (other than breakfast) in Horizon Court, but if you ask, they usually have many cartons in the fridges under the buffet line.

Milk is a good thing to have in cabin fridge for the late night chocolates on pillow, we always have a couple in there which we get at horizon court.

On the Grand they had milk dispensers in the Horizon Court near the water - always available.

Don't know what ship you're going on, but like jennb said the Dawn also has a milk dispenser in the Horizon Court 24/7 as far as I saw.

On the ISland they had cartons of non fat and 2% in cartons on the buffet line. I am a milk drinker also, and when i was on the Star I told my waiter my non-fat preference, and they always had ATLEAST 5 cartons waiting for me everynight! I drank them all, there were also 5 for my sister, but by the end of the cruise they were out of non-fat. I joke that we singlehandedly drank them out of milk on the ship!!!

Thanks for the quick responses! I never outgrew the milk drinking habit. I guess my mom really drilled it into my head!

I love milk, I drink a gallon a week or so. On board ship I drink it in the Horizon court, but in the dining room I drink water (even in addition to wine if ordered).
