Elite parking validations?

Someone on this board mentioned that an Elite member had his parking validated at the pier for the entire cruise. Does anyone know if this is going to be common practice or did this passenger get lucky?

The Captain's Circle doesn't mention anything about parking privileges for elite members.

First I've heard of that.

I am somewhat doubtful - as parking at some ports is very expensive.

I read the post you're referring to but figured she got her facts wrong. We used passenger parking when we sailed the Diamond inaugural on 3/13 out of San Pedro. We're Elite and didn't hear anything about Elite validation. We paid for parking full up for the week... I think it was $11 a day.

Sandy... I was the one who posted this and I spoke to my brother-in-law last night. He confirmed that Princess had told him that he would have validated parking for our Regal cruise on the 20th from San Pedro as an Elite member. (He's been in touch with Princess on his Elite status since they "couldn't find the records" for two of his cruises and was just verified as Elite.) He was very specific about it but obviously, it hasn't happened yet.

I'll let you know after we get back.
