Anybody stay at Springhill Suites, ft lauderdale?

Coming in to Ft Lauderdale night before cruise on CP 6/4 and need shuttle from airport to port next day. Someone recommended to us Springhill Suites as having free shuttle both ways. Anybody used them, and how was it? Linda

My daughter and her husband are using this place for a pre and post cruise stay in June. Their particular room reservation includes port ransportation. I know that airport transportation is complimentary, however, I thought pier was not. You might want to call the hotel and check into it.

We stayed there in January this year and you just need to sign up for a time when you check in for the complimentary shuttle to the ship. It was very easy and well run. We were at the ship by 11:15am.

I stayed there in June before my Grand Princess cruise...Its an ok hotel, across the street from a large shopping center with lots of retaurants..they do provide free transportation to the pier.But be down in the hotel lobby early..there are alot of people going to the pier.
