View Full Version : Dress for Sabatini's restaurant?

I assumed that the dress for Sabatini's would be formal on formal nights and "dressy" for other nights. I read somewhere here that people liked to book at Sabatini's for the formal nights so they wouldn't have to dress up. Would someone clarify?

Sabatini's dress is whatever the dress code is suggested for the eveing, although we have seen those that dressed way down on those nights. Not sure why, but in todays cruising, the suggested dress code is only followed by a percentage of the passengers.

On our recent Panama Canal cruise, first formal night, Sabatini's ... a guy came in wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Apparently no issue with the maitre d'. Really looked out of place, IMO.

When we were on the Diamond in March, we booked Sabatini's on a formal night and even then, we saw me without jackets.

That's kind of disappointing to hear, but I guess we'll adapt. Thanks.

If I were going to Sabbatinis on formal night, I would dress formal. I would feel just right.
