Hi Heather

I am taking my very first HAL cruise on the Westerdam in January. Could you please tell me how far in advance you can book a cabana?? I have tried to "wade" through all the posts but haven't been successful in finding the information. I also went on the HAL website for excursions and you can't access HMC yet.

I don't know when Heather will come by, but if you want a cabana i would get over to the HAL website RIGHT NOW. HAL just released shore excursions on HMC for a bunch of late-fall early winter cruises. The Cabanas on our cruise were all taken within 4 hours of showing up on-line. I saw some folks post on a seperate thread that they had booked cabanas in January.

As K&RCurt said...check "shore excursions" on the HAL website A.S.A.P. We're booked on the WESTERDAM in October and I had thought that the cabana "excursion" bookings would open up as early as 8 months before my cruise...so I was looking at the website & calling HAL at that time. Exactly 5 months from my cruise, the bookings for the Half Moon Cay excursions began to appear on the HAL website. I booked my cabana right away! It seems, from what I've read on these boards, that the HMC bookings are "open" for sailings into Jan '06. Hope you get your cabana soon!
