Scoops ?

I am a new cruiser to Princess and will be sailing in Sept on the CP. I was wondering if there was a cost for Scoops and what the menu is. Any info would be great.

I sure do need a Brief Respite!!!

Hi Soccermom, welcome to princess. Scoops is located by the main pool, next to the burgers and pizza. It is Hagan-daz and there is a charge. I don't have a menu, but I am sure you will get answers. Also, they have free ice cream, not Hagn-daz, in the horizon court, between 3:30 and 4:30 every afternoon, also at lunch and dinner in the dining rooms.

Thanks for replying Sue...I have counted on the CC boards for all kinds of info on other cruise lines so I am sure the Princess fans will take good care of me. I have been reading all the info I can and of course you hear the good and the bad but like alot of others have said it is all in what you make it. I plan to make it wonderful as we always do on every line we have sailed. Hopefully one of the recent cruisers will let us know just how good scoops is.

Just returned from the Caribbean Princess and got ice cream many times from Scoops. $1.50 for a waffle cone (huge) of soft serve. 25 cents for toppings. They also had other combinations that were great and hard ice cream also.
