Hi fellow cruisers,
Can anyone let me know if there are good/safe spots off of the beaches in belize and costa maya, for snorkeling where the locals like best??:rolleyes:
don't need to rent equipment.

Hi Berniemom,

We will be on that cruise with you. My friends just came back from a diving trip in Mahajual. They stayed on land. They had very good diving guides. If you would like, I can ask them who they used and also where they went snorkeling. They did say that the beach south of Costa Maya stretched all the way to Belize and that there was a closed megahotel right close to the Belize border.

Let me know what you want to do and I will ask what they found was best.
