I understand there are laundry facilities on each deck. Are there irons in each cabin, also?

Thanks!

No irons in the cabins, and they frown on you bringing your own, the fire hazzard would be terrible.
But Princess does provide ironing boards and irons in their self serve laundry rooms free of charge!

Hopefully, the kind that shut off automatically! Just the thought of someone having an iron, or candles, in their cabins, gives me the willies!

I don't ever WANT to iron, but sometimes it's necessary to look nice, on a cruise or not.

Thanks, All. Messages received and understood. I'll hopefully get it right before sailing! And the new travel iron goes back to the store asap.

Don't run back to the store just yet... I have always taken my travel iron... I have tried the steamers, and they just take to long... I throw a towl over the dressing table and walla, your wrinkle free. I can't beleive that someone would be so stupid to leave a iron still plugged in after the fact, but I guess there is always those few... So if you plan on bringing an iron...Be responsible...

Remember, anyone following Hairbender's "advice", that s/he is encouraging you to violate Princess's policies.

People, Princess provides Irons in the laundry rooms on each floor. They work just fine, and if you go at off hours you don't have to wait for them. The rules are published for a reason, an unattended iron CAN CAUSE A FIRE AT SEA. It's not worth it.

Nitemare, I totally agree with your responce. Why break the rules and possibly have a problem? Especially when they supply them for your use at no charge.

Nitemare,
You could not have said it better. Leave your irons at home, it is not worth the chance. And you don't have to be stupid to leave the iron on, just forgetful. Or distracted. Or in a hurry. etc etc etc
