Has anyone had good or bad experiences with
this company? They have a very good rate for
a cruise that i'm interested in.

I always go through a T.A. However, T.A.'s rates are through the roof these days and I want to save a good amount of money, but I don't want to use a non-reputable place either

I used them for our cruise in May. The web site was easy to use. I had to call to give a new credit card # because my purse had been stolen and had to get new credit cards. Very pleasant on the phone.

Got the cruise documents about 2 1/2 weeks before departing along with a tote bag.

They had the best price I could find--at least $250 total savings. A friend at work used them to book two cabins and estimate he saved about $700 from AAA.

I called with some questions about things that weren't clear from the web site quote, and they refused to answer them, saying that they're cheap because they expect all dealings to be through the web site.

I tried to get a quote with them. They ask you a hundred questions before they transfer you off to an agent. The first time, I had asked whether they charge a cancellation fee, this agent responded NO. Called again 2 days later, a different agent said yes and it is 75.00 PER person. So that was the end of that. Also I have learned that once you book with them and the rates drop before your final payment, they do not give you that reduction.

We have used them more than once and we are pleased with them. I used an agent rather than book online, but if you book online you get the best price. I never had a problem getting a price reduction from them as long as it was before final pay.

I have used them for 1 cruise (and 1 cruise only!) The above poster is correct they charge a cancellation fee and the reduction in fare for price drop, they actually laughed at me! I have booked 4 cruises since then, guess what? None have been with Cruisevalue.

JMHO, but buyer beware
