Caribbean Princess/Internet $ & Latte?

I was wondering how much it is to use the internet on the Caribbean Princess and how much latte's cost if they even serve them.

I believe the cost per minute is $.65. If you are a Verizon Wireless customer you can sign up for a reduced rate. What the tie in is I do not know. I did not get any lattes on the ship.

When we were on the Caribbean Princess last week internet service was 35 cents per minute.

35 cents per minute is correct. But the connection was very poor. You could waste many minutes waiting to check your e-mail. It frequently "timed-out". On a couple of occasions we gave up. We did manage to send e-mail to our kids once.

Don't know how much the Latte's cost. I never ordered one. I know someone at our table ordered a capucino (sp?). It was at an extra cost.

The 35 cents per minute was supposedly for the inaugural only. Maybe the kept the rate because the connections were so bad. The clock starts as soon as you swipe your card.

The connection was pretty good if you could get on. I think the server they were using was having problems - one machine would work fine, while the one right next to it would be cranky.

I think the capuccinos and lattes were $2.95.

The internet on the Diamond is .35 per minute. If you have problems with it (which we did) they will take it off your bill with absolutely no questions at all if you go to the passenger service desk. I had a latte every day - $3.50. If you go to the Internet Cafe in the afternoon - after high tea - the leftover goodies are put in the internet cafe for all to enjoy. The rum balls were to die for!!! Almond cookies - yum yum!
