The lifeboats were just above the Promeande which was 7. I stayed On caribe 205(deck 10) 205....Thats why the Bridge looks so close. I waved to the Captain each time we pulled out...and he wave back. Capt romano sint very tall I have a picture of us with him....and Id say he may be 5.5? 5.6 tops. Thank for the nice comments too

we were supposed to sail at 5PM (life boat drill was at 4 and we just sat in the theater). The HAl ship left first then the Golden so we started moving about 20 after. Was in a rush getting ready for dinner at 630(PC which was a bit crazy the first night like everything you read on the posts) I would say by 530 545 your past the jetty. Add another 10-15 mintes before your well on your way....sorry for the rough estimates but they would be pretty close...

The place we went to (the beach shots) was san francisco beach in Cozumel . The morning had a lot of really small jelly fish but they cleared by noon. a restaurant bar and a beach bar available. Cabs are easy to get...12 for the car (there was 2 of us). The beach bar got really fun for about 20-30 minutes with the bartenders---dancing on the bar and stuff--then peaceful again. They played some good music too. 2 lounges for $5... You can walk along the beach nicely too.

springal, dramamama The bar you see is Fat Tuesday's and it's right at the pier. They used to give out innertubes and people would float around with drinks in their hand, you can still see where the dock was in the picture. Obviously they found it was a bad plan for cruisers. It's a fun place and a wee stagger to the ship.

Thanks for all the very nice comments. They really meant a lot to me and glad I could share my pictures. It was a canon s30 digital camera...3.2 megapixels. I tried using the landscape and just regular program for the scenery shots. Good thing is you dont like the picture try again immediately.

Fun too look back and feel the warmth (of the sun, of the islands of the just getting away) when you need it most. Happy sailing.

Harry, great photos! Your picture #31, was that taken on Princess Cay? It looks like a smal1 fishing boat. Can you rent fishing boats on Princess Cay? We are on the Caribe deck also. The balcony is half coverend and half exposed, correct? Again, thanks for the great photos. 3 more weeks.........
