As a new Princess cruiser, it looks to me like the Riviera Deck is the deck that has been added to the new Carribean Princess and is the deck directly below pools, restaurants etc. Could somebody who has been on this deck explain the pros and cons of this deck. I am booked in R709 near the aft pool in October. Does anybody know what the balcony is like at this or a nearby cabin? Did you like the convenience of this location? Thanks for any information.

I stayed back there twice and I"m booked in 722 again in July. I love it back there, it's great to walk out the back and have the pool and bar area there and right upstairs to the Horizon court.

Janice, we are in 710 and I love the location. You are just steps away from the terrace pool which is quiet and relaxing. The balcony will be the standard size. Our cruise is on the 23rd are you earlier in October? So far the only negative thing I've culled from all the posts is the $2.50 bets on video poker. Now that's a rip!
