Oh, god I need help Med cruise

Trying to plan a 50th celebration for my husband and know he would love the sept 25 itinerary on the Star. Called to book, there are only outside obstructed left (we usually get a mini) and those are 3039 pp to boot!!! Held the space and wait listed for a better room. Hoping platinum princess holder will help. Is this too high to pay? COuld sail a week earlier, at much lower rates, but don't like the itinerary as well.
Also, plan on doing my own air out of Cleveland.
What do you all think?

Way too much for obstructed cabin. Have you tried some other web agencies to see if someone is holding group cabins? You can e-mail to me and I would recommend a few. One of them seems to have some cabins on other sold out sailings.

If you have your heart set on going to the Greek Isles, you probably wouldn't be happy doing the Barcelona to Rome cruise. But it sounds wonderful to me. And the prices of a mini suite (AE) are less than what you've been quoted for an obstructed view.

Value is what each person determines for themselves. If it's worth it to you, then go for it. For me, however, this is way too much money for an obstructed view cabin. That's more than our mini for next year's Med cruise.
