Diamond Princess - Slippery Showers?

I read a post on Cruise Addicts where the writer said the shower was super slippery. Has anybody else experienced this? Would it be helpful if I brought one of those non-skid shower mats with me on my cruise?

Our shower was not super slippery, no more than any other and as usual small, I did shower in the spa locker room and that did have some conditioner "ketchup" packets on the floor which could have been stepped on and make the floor slippery.

Standard showers are too small to fall down in even on purpose and no I wouldn't bring a mat.

When I saw our bathtub on the Diamond I was sure it was gonna be slippery, but it wasn't a problem. There didn't appear to be any non slip surface, yet it didn't seem slick at all. Still, I would have felt better with a rubber mat or something.

I think you should put some kind of mat on the bathroom shower. Maybe just a washcloth or something. My younger sister and I went on a cruise and while she was showering, I was brushing my teeth. I heard a scream and a loud thud. I automatically reached and whisked away the shower curtain thinking to help her if she was really hurt. She had slipped on some shampoo that was draining away and fell against the shower wall and ended up just slightly embarrASSED. My eyes however were hurt by the sight of her naked. hah! This was my first time seeing her naked for the first time since she was little and I used to help change her. Did I mention I'm 9 years older. haha
