Caribbean Princess mini suite on Emerald deck

Hi, Can anyone tell me about the balconies on the mini suites on Emerald deck on this ship? Are they covered, or open to the balconies above them? Thanks

They are fully covered. They are the only mini suites that have a covered balcony.

The biggest question on these aft Emerald mini's "can you hear Club Fusion directly below?"

So far I can only find one poster who has been in one of these mini's. They said the music did "bleed thru" to the mini's above. Can't wait to hear more experiences from cruisers in these Mini-suites. Anyone else had these cabin's on the Emerald deck?

This is a question that I've been wondering about too. We are on the Star in December in E722 which is above the Vista Lounge. We were concerned about music, etc. also. Thanks in advance for any info.

From what I can tell from other cruiser's and their experiences, The Ship makes a difference. I have read, "NO noise" in the aft mini-suites on the Diamond. A "fair amount of noise" in the same cabins on the Caribbean. "Minimal noise, if any" on the other Grand class ships. I'm starting to wonder if it depends on which shipyards they are built in that really makes a difference in the sound proofing http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

We have E731 booked on the Caribbean and I am really hoping to hear from more cruisers in these minis. Hopefully the one and only report from the Caribbean Princess sailor was a fluke, or very sensitive hearing?!?!

we had e728 on the Grand, definate noise problem!!! would not book that cabin again, even thought the balcony was the best!!!
